Day 5

You guessed it, sunrise on the beach, and the promise of a really great day.
Today was simply going to be a lazy day at the beach. I wasn't going to drive anywhere, or go anywhere I couldn't get to on foot.
After breakfast and coffee, I grabbed my camera and started walking.
While walking out onto the pier, I found these pigeons fascinating. As I moved around them, their feathers changed from green to purple and back again.
In my walking, I did see this curious trail entry...
There isn't much to it actually. At the moment the very short trail is overgrown. But, it does lead out to a platform overlooking a salt marsh.
Like I said, a lazy day at the beach. But, I did go back out for sunset...
Day 6

The previous day, I had gone looking for possible apps so I could control more on the phone's camera. I downloaded a free app called Open Camera. The upside, I could control both iris and ISO settings. The downside, a pretty limited zoom. I experimented with both the new app and the one that came with the phone.
Every morning should start like this!
After packing up the room, it was time to head out. Thankfully, the trip home was drama free and effortless.
